What you need to know before filing a complaint
In order for NCP Denmark to process your complaint, your complaint needs to:
• concern a Danish corporation, authority, or organization
• fall within the scope of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, which cover areas such as human and labour rights, international environmental standards, and anti-corruption.

Who can submit a complaint?
Anybody can submit a complaint. If you are an NGO, a customer, an employee, or an ordinary private person, you can file a complaint.
Remember that your complaint must be submitted in writing with the name and contact information of the person filing the complaint. You cannot remain anonymous when filing a complaint. However, if necessary, NCP Denmark can anonymise the complaint towards other parties.
Who can you complain about?
You can file a complaint against a Danish corporation, authority, or organization.
What can you complain about?
The complaint must concern non-observance of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, which cover areas such as human and labour rights, international environmental standards, and anti-corruption.
Non-observance of the Guidelines can occur directly through the accused corporation, authority, or organization’s own activities, or more indirectly through value chains or business partners.
The incident must have taken place within the last five years.
What documentation do you need?
You must enclose reasonable documentation when submitting a complaint. This can e.g. be:
• Correspondences regarding the issue you are complaining about
• Specialist studies
• Photo or video documentation
• Etc.
If NCP Denmark assesses that your complaint lacks sufficient documentation, NCP Denmark will advice you on the additional documentation needed.

How much does it cost to submit a complaint?
It is free to submit a complaint to NCP Denmark. There is no complaints fee.
When will NCP Denmark respond to your complaint?
NCP Denmark will - if possible - make an initial assessment of your complaint within two weeks.
You will then be informed whether NCP Denmark will accept the complaint for further processing or reject it.
